Glenn and Carolyn were wonderful and gracious hosts. Such a lovely couple and enoyed our stay. Another HH guest, with two young kids, was there as well. I thouroughly enjoyed watching Glenn teach the kids about alpacas. Such a unigque experience and wouold definitely recommend a stay here!

I absolutely loved this experience from start to finish! Glenn and Carolyn were very accommodating, kind, helpful and knowledgeable about their alpacas as well as their products.

We did a two week trip through the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce, Zion, Las Vegas, and we're headed home to Northern California when I saw this alpaca farm on harvest host. The farm is in Fallon, which is just a little bit out of our way home to Auburn California, but we thought...What the heck! Let's make an adventure When we arrived, our host, Glenn and Carolyn could not have been more generous and gracious. Glenn must have spent two hours giving us a tour and history of alpacas. Carolyn has a small store with some great items of which we purchase. we had planned on getting up the following morning and heading home but there was an opportunity to be Ranch for a day and help out. My husband got to help feed and clean up and I go to help water. Bonus points for that. You can't go wrong stopping at Sawdust Alpacas in Fallon, Nevada and we will be coming back when the next opportunity come up. David and Kathleen McNabb.

Glenn and Carolyn were amazing hosts. Salt of the earth people! They were very communicative and accommodating for our stay. They gave us a little tour of their Alpaca farm and had a little store to purchase all things Alpaca. It was a quiet stay and met our needs. Great experience!

This place was such a great experience with great parking spot, option for electricity and the cutest Alpacas right outside the RV.

what a wonderful place. the hosts were so kind and accomdating. parking for the coach was perfect. we could look out the window and the alpacas were right there. the store was really cute with a lot of nice gift items. the property is beautiful and well taken care of. we really enjoyed or stay and would definately stay again

We just loved staying here right beside the alpacas. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They helped us get settled in our spot with a new hookup. We had a view of the alpacas, so we could see them any time of day. They gave us a detailed tour of the farm, and we met the alpacas up close. We had no idea how soft they were. We were able to buy some cute alpaca stuff and a knitted shawl using the wool from the alpacas we met. We will be back when passing through again. Thank you for a great stay.

What a delight! We came here as Harvest Host guests and left life long alpaca lovers! Glenn is extremely knowledgeable and so imformative about all things alpaca. Both he and his wife Carolyn are the most caring and genuine people you will ever meet. They care so much for their alpacas and it really shows when you spend a half a second with them and the grounds where the alpacas live.

Their gift shop is amazing! I wanted everything in there. So many unique gifts, though my daughter got the biggest haul from the gift shop. Aside from managing the farm they also do a lot of alpaca education for kiddos. Which speaks to their true love of the animals they have. All and all, a must see & definitely get some amazing gifts in the gift show.

Wow, what a fantastic experience! We were allowed to park right next to the Alpacas and it was epic. We will never forget this visit. We were treated like VIP's and given an educations about the history of Alpacas, and the geneology of Alpacas and what it takes to raise and show Alpacas! Like I said earlier, the areas to park are easy to get to and right next to the Alpacas, and for only $10.00 they offer electric, which was a very pleasant surprise to have with it being summer temps. You willnot regret staying here and I feel that my wife and I have made friends for life with Glenn and his wife. There are good people and helped make our stay one of the BEST Harvest Host stops that we have had! Sawdust Alpacas, we can't wait to return!!!!!

We loved our stay at Sawdust Alpacas!  Communication with the hosts, including specific directions, was excellent!  The available (and cheap) shore power was especially welcome with the 100 degree weather.  We truly enjoyed the time we spent with Glenn and Carolyn learning about alpaca farming.  Super cute store with alpaca products.  We highly recomment this HH and hope to stay again.  Thanks Glenn and Carolyn!

Alpaca Heaven!

We cannot say enough of our stay! Glenn and Carolyn were so generous in sharing with us their life with their obviously well loved alpacas! They were so kind and interesting!. The alpacas were unbelievably adorable and the setting was gorgeous! Amazing sunset and sunrise! At night, it was so peaceful and the milky way right there! We got some very nice items from their lovely store! Thank you so much, Glenn and Carolyn! We hope to visit again!

Carolyn and Glenn are awesome host. I highly recommend staying there. Small gift shop but they had what I wanted. Also the alpacas are awesome to watch.

Wonderful One of a Kind Stay

We had such a delightful stay at Sawdust Alpacas. Our hosts, Glenn and Carolyn

could'nt have been friendlier and more hospitable. The alpacas are adorable. Our hosts shared their extensive knowledge about alpacas and their fibers. We were able to view a lovely sunset that evening as well. If you are traveling near the area, I highly recommend a visit. Thanks again for the warm hospitality.

Easy and Friendly

Glenn & Carolyn were very friendly. Glenn gave us a tour of the alpaca enclosures and we got to meet the animals. Nice, Quiet spot. We'd stay again!

Lots of room to park. It was 103 degrees, so we were very happy to hook up to the power ($10) for the AC!

Too Wonderful!

Hosts Glenn and Carolyn made us feel right at home. They are star hosts and farmers who deeply care for their adorable herd of alpacas. Our parking place gave us amazing access to view the alpacas. The 30 amp service kept us cool with our AC. The hosts love to share their knowledge about alpaca farming. We even witnessed the birth of a cria (baby alpaca). The nearby Churchill County Museum was an excellent recommendation for learning about the fascinating history of this area. And a nearby brewery gave tours and tastings. Would definitely return.

Sawdust Alpacas

We stayed one night and the host were great. They gave us a tour of their farm with all the colorful Alpacas. I asked a lot of questions about raising Alpacas and both Glen and Carolyn were very informative. They have a very nice gift shop as well. We had a great time.

Great place to stay. GPS would have been more direct. Glenn and Carolyn were very accommodating.

Plenty of room for our sixty four foot rig. Are watchdog power monitor did trip a few times due to low voltage. But Glenn is working on it.
