Sawdust's Linden, born in May, 2023, had his first shearing (cria tipping).  He has incredible fiber! And what a gorgeous guy he is!

Sawdust's Kali gave us our only girl  this year.  Kali was bred to Vintage Cashmere's U-Taupe-Ia last fall.  Sawdust's Tullip was pretty small when born  and not much crimp in her fiber and no appaloosa spots from her sire.  As she has grown, she has developed the dense, crimpy fiber we want to see in our alpacas  She is still small at 9 weeks old and only 22 lbs.  But boy can she run!

Snow Diamond Felicty, a silver gray, gave birth to a male cria.  Felicity was bred to a white herdsire - Sawdust's High Cotton.

We have this little brown cria, with a streak of gray down his back and 2 white spot on each side of his tail.  Keeping the wood theme going,  His name is Albizia which is a brown wood with gray and white streaks in it. Boy did that fit him.  We have nickmnamed him "Moose" .  Although he is 10 days younger than  Tulip, he weighs twice as much!  He is a character, for sure.

Our Great Pyrenees, Abbey, decided she needed a permanent rest.  We miss her so much.  She was a great protector of the alpacas.

We welcomed a new dog - Anatolian Shepherd - 2 years old, named Beau.  He is settling in and getting used to all ages of alpacas here.  We had to do some fence and gate remodels tho to keep him in when he first arrived.  But he is doing great and we like him a lot.
