Thunder 2 arrived on 10/06/22 weighing 16.6 pounds. Crimpy fiber, good conformation. Going to town in no time.

Mom is A Paca Fun's Black Dalhia bred to our Herdsire Sawdust's Almond Thunder. Great genetics for this little guy who now has a wood name - Sawdust's Murwiti. Murwiti is the common name for African Blackwood. Show season starts in March so maybe we can enter him in a show or two next year.

Murwiti is growing into quite a handsome guy. He is registered to participate in the Great Western Alpaca Show/Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showcase in Denver, CO April 28th - 30th. Can't wait to see how he does.

Murwiti was moved to True Black at Great Western Alpaca Show. He took a first in Walking Fleece and 2nd in both Halter shows. He was shorn after the show and is definitely black with 2 little spots of gray on one ear. We are so please with the show results. Over 325 entries and Murwiti was the youngest in his class. So expect great things for him in the future.

Working with Murwiti's fiber this weekend. Really bright, black fiber with lots of crimp. Soft handle, 2 1/2 inches long for shearing at 6 months of age. Wow!
